The second batch of loops was recorded May 15th, and come from a very nice town called Passau in Germany known also as the Dreiflüssestadt (City of Three Rivers), because the Danube is joined there by the Inn from the South, and the Ilz coming out of the Bavarian Forest to the North. We played in a little Jazz club called Scharfrichterhaus whose logo is basically an executioner, in some instances holding out a bunch of flowers. The house kit there was a Premiere. The drum sizes were quit large for a jazz set up but they were tuned extraordinarily high with some imitation natural skins and had a great tone and response. It was really fun to play them in such a small live room like that. The show was packed and raucous! The Passau loops begin with PAS.
